These Terms of Use govern your use of the Pick Right mobile application ("the App"), developed and operated by Dream Big Services Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Pick Right is a produce guide app. It is free to download, and the produce guide is free to use; Pro is an optional paid upgrade described in Section 5. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App, or older if the age of adulthood where you live is higher.
The information in Pick Right — including produce-picking tips, Ayurveda notes, and storage guidance — is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not professional nutritional, medical, or dietary advice. The App does not know your allergies, medications, health conditions or dietary needs, and nothing in it accounts for them. Always use your own judgment when selecting produce and consult a qualified professional for health-related decisions.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Content may change without notice.
The App includes optional AI features — an in-app Chat and a camera Scan — powered by Google's Vertex AI (Gemini). AI-generated answers and produce identifications are automated, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are provided for general guidance only — not professional, medical, or food-safety advice. Always rely on your own judgment; do not eat or discard produce based solely on an AI response. Vertex AI is a Google Cloud service we buy under a business contract, so the agreement with Google is ours and not yours — but that contract requires us to pass one rule on to you: your use of Chat and Scan is also subject to Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.
Ayurvedic references in the App are descriptive and traditional in nature — they are not medical claims and should not be interpreted as diagnosis, treatment, or cure for any condition. Pick Right does not replace the advice of a licensed healthcare provider.
All content within the App — including text, produce comparison illustrations, PICK/PASS images, icons, and the Pick Right name and logo — is owned by or licensed to Dream Big Services Inc and is protected by applicable law.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from App content for commercial use, or use it in any product or publication that competes with the App, without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial reference use is permitted.
Share cards are the deliberate exception — the App creates them so you can share them. When the App generates a card for an item, you may post it anywhere, publicly or privately, provided you share it whole and unaltered with the Pick Right mark intact. Cropping the mark away, cutting the artwork out of the card, or reformatting it into other material is not permitted.
Pick Right is free to download. The produce guide — the verdict, how to pick it, the red flags, the varieties and how to store it — is free to use, with no account and no ads. Pro is an optional paid upgrade that opens the remaining sections of each item, opens the camera Scan and the in-app Chat for ongoing use, and opens For you.
Without Pro, the App includes a one-time taste of those paid features rather than a daily ration: five camera scans and five AI answers per installation — five in total, not five per day — and one persona deck in For you, available for 24 hours from the moment you open it. Three consequences follow, and we state them plainly because they are easy to get caught out by. Opening that deck starts the 24-hour clock. When the clock runs out, any scans and answers you have not spent end with it. And purchasing Pro consumes the free taste, so a subscription you later cancel returns you to no free allowance rather than to a fresh one. Not every answer spends one of the five: answers the App produces from its own built-in data — how to pick an item, its rankings and comparisons, and the referral to a qualified professional for health questions — leave the allowance untouched. Chat and Scan themselves close once the allowance is gone, and reopen with Pro. We may change what the free taste includes, or end it. The App shows what it includes at the time.
Pro replaces the one-time scan and answer allowance with a daily one — it does not change how often the persona deck in For you refreshes, which follows its own monthly cycle regardless of Pro status. The daily figures are set for ordinary personal use and are not a licence for automated or bulk querying; we may adjust them, and we may refuse or limit requests that appear automated or abusive.
Pro is sold only through Apple's App Store or Google Play, never directly by us. The price and billing period are shown to you before you confirm. Everything after that is handled by Apple or Google under their own terms — how and when your store account is charged, and whether and how a purchase can be restored on another device or shared within a family.
Where Pro is offered as a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it first. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings, where you can also view and manage the subscription; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access for the period you have already paid for. The deadline for cancelling before a renewal, and the timing of the renewal charge, are set by Apple and Google and are shown in those settings — not by us. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
All payments are processed by Apple or Google, and all refunds are issued by them under their own policies — we cannot issue one ourselves. Refund requests go to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or to Google Play support.
Sections of the guide that are free today will remain free. We may add new features to Pro, and we may move a Pro feature into the free tier, but we will not take a section out of the free tier and place it behind Pro.
You use the App and act on its content at your own risk. The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dream Big Services Inc shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on any information in it, including answers from Chat and results from Scan, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law allows.
If someone brings a claim against Dream Big Services Inc because you broke these Terms or misused the App, you agree to indemnify us — to pay the resulting losses, including reasonable legal fees. This applies only as far as your local law allows.
We may suspend or end your access to the App, or to Chat and Scan, if you break these Terms, use the App unlawfully, or send automated or abusive requests. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription, as Section 5 explains. If we end your access to Pro while your subscription is paid up, for any reason other than your breaking these Terms, you can ask Apple or Google for a refund.
The App may reference third-party sources (research institutions, agricultural bodies, Ayurvedic texts). We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content. Links to external websites are provided for reference only.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at Google, Apple, RevenueCat or Expo, a failure of the internet or of power, a natural disaster, or government action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you downloaded Pick Right from Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and Dream Big Services Inc only, not Apple Inc.; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty for the App; (c) Apple is not responsible for any claims arising from your use of the App; and (d) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. The same applies to Google LLC with respect to downloads from Google Play.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Except as the next paragraph says, any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Florida.
If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other country whose law gives consumers protections that a contract cannot take away, nothing in these Terms removes those protections, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Where your local law gives you a right to cancel a digital purchase, Apple or Google handles that cancellation, because they sell Pro.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dream Big Services Inc regarding your use of Pick Right, and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
